The Rat Pack Productions have produced a feature-length documentary 'My London Party' which charts the year-long journey by Nathan Cassidy to invite the whole of London to a party in Hyde Park on September 10th 2006.

It is a film that seeks an answer to a big question - why don’t Londoners talk to each other? Why does it take a day of tragedy to make them talk? And through the film, Nathan seeks to make a big difference - to get London talking, to ask people to acknowledge their fellow man, and to realise the difference that can bring to both the community and themselves. That difference, were it to be made everywhere, could be the key to avoiding another tragic day.

Starting with a friend, and then a friend of a fiend, invite cards are given out and people are inspired to spread the word. And people truly are inspired - from friends, to random people, to strangers. As the card says - people are only strangers because you haven’t said hello to them. And when Nathan does say hello, to people you would never talk to you in your entire lives, the stories are challenging and uplifting. Everyone in London is part of the story.  And it will change them. They will witness a remarkable journey. To make the big difference the journey is long. But the first steps are small.

It is hoped that the film will get some kind of broadcast release later this year.   Please contact us if you would like to know more about this project
